- Drake spoke with Lil Wayne about why he decided to share photos of his two-year-old son.
- He said, “I want to be able to go places with my son and share memories with my son.”
Drake may have confirmed that he had a kid back in June 2018, but we only got our first glimpse of his BB boy a few months ago in March, when Drake shared some of photos of his 2-year-old son Adonis. He posted the pics with a lengthy caption that included him writing, “I love and miss my beautiful family and friends and I can’t wait for the joyful day when we are all able to reunite.”
And now, Drake is opening up about why he finally shared pictures of his son with the world. During an interview with Lil Wayne on Young Money Radio with Lil Wayne, he revealed:
I posted those pictures, it was great for me. It was great to just share that with the world. I wasn’t even anything I talked to anybody about or anything I planned. I just woke up one morning, and I was like, you know what? This is just something that I want to do. I want to be able to go places with my son and share memories with my son. I don’t want to feel like just because of a life choice I made to be, you know, a ‘celebrity’ that I got to make everybody live under this blanket. I just wanted to free myself of that.
Good for Drake! And hopefully this means that after self-isolation is over, we’ll get more photos of little Adonis, cause that toddler is super cute!
