“The thing about this generation is that no one wants to put in the f***ing work! I slept in my car on Melrose for two years handing free CD’s until one of them got to Dr. Dre. And it wasn’t the first CD that got to Dr. Dre. It might have been the 1000th, the 10000th. For two years I slept in my car with my pitbull. He ate the back seat up! But that’s what I had to do. These artists out here man, they lack the grind.”
Well going from handing CD’s to being one of the biggest rappers of all time is no small feat. Congratulations to The Game! We’ll see you around soon. Keep up the amazing work.
