CNN anchor Anderson Cooper did not hold back after President Donald Trump’s latest press conference during a live broadcast Thursday evening. After Trump threatened to challenge the election with no proof of an fraudulent activity, Cooper likened Trump to “an obese turtle on its back flailing in the hot Sun”.
As it stands Donald Trump has 214 electoral college votes and Joe Biden has 253 with several paths to 270. Votes are being counted as this article is being written and the results are being updated by the hour.*
The former Vice President has several paths to victory while Trump has to win everything to win the race and the current trajectory of votes does not support him.
“If you count the legal votes I easily win,” said Mr Trump. “If you count the illegal votes, they can try to steal the election from us.
“We think there’ll be a lot of litigation because we can’t have an election stolen like this.” said Trump in his latest press conference.
